letter to my children

for you son and daughter no more need be said/written

trust me, i aim to be the best dad i can be
guaranteed to make mistakes on this journey
forgive me
never been a dad before so please bear with me
i'm human, thus perfection eludes me
but in my humanity i'll strive for mastery
never shirk my responsibility
my babies you can rely on me
lean on me
i'll be stronger than an oak tree
love you unconditionally
yep even when you annoy me and say things that disrespect me
i'll be there when you need me
financially or emotionally
i'll provide that security
a solid foundation for you to build on
a secure attachment
you've taught me many things
hope i can teach you two too 
through my actions and words
do as i do and as i say too (at times)
